This beautiful LA beach condo is strategically located where Marina del Rey opens to the Pacific Ocean. The open floor plan (1,400 sq-ft) was completely renovated in 2012 and includes the living room with view to lagoon, 50” tv with cable, fireplace, dining area, kitchen with all new appliances, 2 bedrooms (queen bed in each) and 2 bathrooms. The great room includes a pull-out couch for 5th occupant.
The building has designated underground parking, jacuzzi and rooftop patio with wonderful views of Marina, downtown Los Angeles and colorful sunsets. There are bikes and SUPs (stand-up-paddleboards) available for your use; the condo is located at the mid-point of the Marvin Braude Bike path that leads north to Marina del Rey, Venice Beach and Santa Monica, and south to Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beaches.

This property is in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by water (ocean, marina, lagoon). Essentially it’s at the end of a peninsula with no through traffic over pedestrian bridge, just boats, cyclists and runners. There are miles of beach right out the door, surprisingly quiet with abundant wildlife due to Ballona Wetlands State Ecological Reserve just east of the neighborhood. Within walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants* in downtown Playa del Rey and short bike ride to Venice and Marina. Only 10 minutes to LAX.

This property is our 2nd home. We prefer to exchange with 2nd homes because of the flexibility of non-simultaneous exchanges.
We are happy to exchange now for future visits to Europe. Our son and his wife are relocating to The Netherlands so we want to begin looking in Amsterdam and surrounding areas for long-term exchange in the summer of 2014.

We are currently seeking a long-term exchange in The Netherlands for the summer of 2014 (July - August).
In the U.S. we are interested in 1 - 2 week exchanges in Northern CA, especially Sonoma (Russian River, Healdsburg, Calistoga) County.
We wish to visit and ride the many great cycling regions of France (Loire Valley, Provence, Brittany), Italy (Tuscany, Umbria, Dolomites) and Spain (Andalusia, Pyrenees, Cost Brava, Barcelona). I would enjoy any recommendations from and exchanges with cyclists.

O nama
Patti and Terry (50's) live in Las Vegas and use the condo as a vacation home to escape the summer heat. Patti is a healthcare consultant and enjoys golf, cooking and making jewelry. Terry is an insurance executive, avid cyclist and swimmer. Both love to travel and have flexible schedules that allow them to work remotely.
Although it's usually just the two of us traveling, we often have another couple join us at least some of the time.
